Dave Luna
OwnerDave began drywalling when he was 17 and got into the exterior construction industry in 1985 on the product side doing inside/outside sales for USG Corporation. He began roofing in Northern Iowa in 1991 after moving there the previous year, and he and his crew completed over 500 roofing projects in a 10-year span. In 2001, Dave began doing storm damage after a major storm swept through Mason City, Iowa. His focus has always been taking care of the customer in all aspects, particularly guiding them through the insurance claims process, easing the stress and working with adjusters to ensure they get everything they’re owed. Dave established Armor Construction in 2009, three years after moving to the Twin Cities area. He’s been an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) since 1994, with an A+ rating in both Iowa and Minnesota (since beginning work in the state in 2004). Having experienced all sides of the business in his 36 years in the industry, Dave prides himself on working with integrity, transparency, and always in the best interest of the customer. To do so, he’s established long-standing relationships with crews he trusts and knows to be reliable and customer-focused. He also believes in providing a company culture that feels like family, hiring quality people and fostering their strengths, individual growth, and future goals.

Casey Chisholm
Vice President, MNCasey joined the Armor Construction team in January 2020 as a Project Manager and was promoted to Operations Manager on August 1, 2020. Before Armor, he was working in the industry as a contract Project Manager. Casey also worked as a foreman in concrete foundation installation for five years, as well as 20 years in landscape design/sales and operations. Casey’s biggest strengths are his extensive sales experience and his leadership, training, and customer service skills. He’s passionate about working with and helping both his customers and crew, constantly learning, and using his knowledge to build a stronger team. For him, the best part about working at Armor Construction is feeling valued for his individual strengths and what he brings to the company. He appreciates the trust and freedom Dave gives him to operate in a way that works for him and knows that Dave is always there for advice. The supportive environment Dave creates is one Casey maintains with his own team, doing all he can to help with their individual growth and success.

Jason Popko
Project Manager, MNJason joined the Armor Construction team in April 2023. Jason is a US Marine Corps veteran and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University. Prior to joining our team, Jason was the Director of Project Management and Engineering for a municipal pump company in Texas that designed and manufactured water and wastewater pumping equipment. Over the past 25 years, Jason has gained a wide range of construction and engineering experience working on residential, municipal, commercial, and industrial projects. Jason draws on his decades of project management experience to make certain our customers’ projects run as smoothly and stress-free as possible. Jason’s attention to detail from start to finish combined with his exceptional problem solving and customer service skills ensures that our customers are more than satisfied when their projects are complete.

Mike Oelfke
Project ManagerMike joined Armor Construction in July 2020 as a Project Manager, bringing with him 30 years of industry experience. He was an outside sales representative before joining Armor and spent most of his career with Western Roofing Supply Company. Throughout his 30 years in exterior construction, Mike has worked side by side with shingle, siding, and window manufacturers and has built an extensive network in the building industry. Mike’s vast product knowledge, core values, and dedication to treating every customer like family have resulted in countless satisfied Armor customers.
